2021 Fall Enrollment is NOW OPEN!
Our classrooms are designed to inspire creativity in the children as they learn to love learning through an interactive, hands on, musical atmosphere.
Learning to read and write is so much fun at Discovery Tree Preschool. Our Pre-K reading program will not only have your child reading by the end of the year but they will also be able to comprehend what it is they are reading. A very valuable skill they will need in kindergarten.
We offer 2 day and 3 day programs for 2.5 - 5 year olds.
We also offer Kids Night Outs, at our preschool in bluffdale for an evening of fun for the kids and a relaxing evening for the parents.

Our interactive "music based academic approach" sets the Discovery Tree Preschool apart as an outstanding & unique curriculum. Music ignites all areas of child development: intellectual, social, and emotional, motor, language and overall literacy. Exposing children to music during early development assists them to learn the sounds and meanings of words. Your child will sing along to "cool tunes" as they learn the alphabet, numbers, colors and shapes. Learning with rhythm and music reinforces letter recognition, letter sounds & develops a rich vocabulary. These concepts will be introduced through song, movement & rhythm. Very quickly you will hear your child singing about the alphabet, shapes, sounds, colors and numbers. The whole child is involved in this learning process. This creative process will be reinforced with arts & crafts, worksheets, language, science, reading skills & free play.

With everything going on in relation to Covid19. We want you to know that we are working hard to make this next school year a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. We will follow the guidelines as set out by the governor to ensure our school stays clean and safe for all the children and our staff.
Some of the thing you can expect this Fall are:
*Temperatures will be taken at the door
*Teachers will have face masks and/or face shields to wear when working in close proximity with your child
*Childrens hands will be washed and/or sanitized multiple times through out the day
*All toys, desks, chairs and school supplies will be cleaned daily and in-between classes
Please be patient with us as these guidelines may change. I will do my best to inform you as soon as those changes happen.
There will be a few changes to our normal routine. We will still have our drive through system for drop-off and pickup times, however, instead of the teachers getting the children out of the car, parents please jump out and unbuckle your child when dropping off. We will be right there at the door to greet them. At pickup time, you do NOT need to get out, a teacher will still open the car door for your child to jump in themselves. We are asking all parents to wear a face mask when entering the school. And please, DO NOT send your child to school if they are showing any signs of sickness.
Please talk to your children before school starts about coughing into their elbow and covering their mouth. And the importance of washing their hands.
I have no doubts that this year is going to be as amazing and fun as the previous years. We as a staff are all SO EXCITED to get back to work teaching your little ones and watching them grow leaps and bounds. It truly is going to be a remarkable year!!!
